Elvira Hernández Benito

Elvira Hernández Benito studied Economics (1991-1995) and Labour Relations (2001-2004) at University of Salamanca. Before that, she had spent some years in Gijón studying Industrial Engineering at University of Oviedo.

Since 2000 and after having worked as an accountant and a financial assistant in several small companies, she runs her own business in Salamanca as an Entrepreneur Consultant ­­ ─with clients from Burgos, Valladolid, Zamora, Salamanca, and Madrid─, in which she makes taxes, accounting and payrolls for her clients. At the same time, she manages and reorganises businesses in trouble owned by some of her clients until everything is ready to work correctly again. Apart from that, she has taught PC Accounting at the Chamber of Commerce of Salamanca, and Mathematics at IE University; currently, she is teaching Statistics at University of Salamanca (Economics and Business Faculty), and Financial Accounting at IE University.

Since 2019 she carries out a research project at the University of Salamanca in order to achieve her PhD. Since June 2020 she takes part as a researcher in the project "Externalidades y Cooperación", financed by the Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación; this project is due to finish in December 2022.
