Federico Castanedo Sotela

Dr.  Federico Castanedo currently serves as the Academic Director at the Bachelor in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at IE University. Before, joining IE he has held leadership positions at well-known organizations such as DataRobot and Vodafone and has been an Adjunct Professor at several Universities. Federico also co-founded WiseAthena, a leader in AI price optimization for consumer-packaged goods (CPG) companies and served as the Chief Data Scientist. 

He holds a PhD in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2010) and has been a visiting researcher at Stanford University. He is also a published author, with several O’Reilly e-books and research papers that have received over 1400 citations.
