Ionela Andreicovici

Ionela Andreicovici is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting and Management Control. Her research is empirical archival centered on understanding how the production and dissemination of information matters for firms’ interactions with both external and internal stakeholders, including employees, non-governmental organizations, and financial analysts. Her work has been published in leading academic journals such as The Accounting Review, Management Science, and European Accounting Review.

Before joining IE University, Ionela was an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in Germany. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from ESSEC Business School (France) and a Ph.D. in Accounting from Babeș-Bolyai University (Romania). Prior to her academic career, she gained professional experience at an accounting firm in Romania.
