Jaime Otero Ortíz

Jaime has over ten years of professional experience as a lawyer specializing in Labour and Social Security Law. He has provided comprehensive legal counsel to corporate clients in areas including TMT labour law, labour technology (Labour Tech), corporate and workforce restructurings, collective bargaining, and has represented clients before all levels of judicial and extrajudicial forums. He also possesses extensive experience in conducting labour audits, implementing labour risk management systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance (Labour Compliance) for both public and private sector entities.

 Prior to joining ECIJA, Jaime worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers Spain and at several prestigious Spanish and Anglo-Saxon law firms.

 He holds a Law Degree from the University of Navarra and a Master’s Degree in Labour Legal Advisory Services from the Garrigues Study Centre. Jaime also lectures at renowned business schools such as IE and IEB. He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and the Spanish National Association of Labour Lawyers (ASNALA).
