Javier Méndez has a 40+ years of business and academic experience in the fields of financial research and asset management. His latest responsibilities include being the Head of the Spanish Society of Financial Analysts, where he stood for the last 12 years. He has a wide experience in different posts within the Spanish BBVA banking group as well. Javier has been engaged in many studies and investigation of the Fundación de Estudios Financieros, as well as in articles related to Finance, Investments and Financial Regulation. Personally, he is very fond about History and Geography.
