Leticia Ponz

Leticia Ponz heads the Spanish branch office of Union Investment Real Estate GmbH, one of Europe’s leading real estate players. She is also in charge of the Asset Management for UIRE’s diversified property portfolio in Spain, Mexico and Portugal.

She has a broad professional background in real estate and finance, having held senior management positions in Brussels and Madrid before joining UIRE fifteen years ago.

Leticia is passionate about real estate asset management with an international and cross-border focus. Her depth and breadth of experience, problem-solving abilities, value-oriented and analytical mind-set result in a practical approach to the day-to-day management challenges posed by diversified international property portfolios.

Trained as an Economist, she has a Master’s in International Business Management from Ecole de Hautes Etudes Commerciales du Nord and an Executive MBA from Instituto de Empresa Business School. She is Vice President of Women in Real Estate Association and has been MRICS-qualified since 2016 where she collaborates as counsellor. Leticia is also a member of the Executive Committees of ULI (urban Land Institute) and the AEO (Asociacion Española de Oficina).

Leticia Ponz currently teaches at IE school of Architecture and Design. Her courses include Property Practice in the Masters in Real Estate Development program and Real Estate Asset Management and PropTech in the Global Masters in Real estate programs.
