Marco Da Costa Bodelón

Marco da Costa has a PhD in Hispanic Philology and has received an Extraordinary Doctorate Award from the University of Barcelona. He has extensive professional experience for many years in different university institutions, where he was in charge of programming, coordinating, and teaching courses and modules related to audiovisual communication, humanities, and cultural studies. Following his main lines of research (Intellectual and political propaganda during the interwar period and the analysis of European totalitarianism), he has written numerous academic articles on propaganda in cinema and the relationships between literature and ideology. He has published, amongother volumes, El cine japonés bajoelpeso de la tradición (Editorial Azul, 2010), Ideología y propaganda en el cine del Tercer Reich (Editorial Comunicación Social, 2014) and in Notorious Ediciones, El cine del III Reich en cincuenta películas (2016) y Hollywood contra Hitler (2018). His last published volume is La España nazi: crónica de una colaboración ideológica e intelectual, 1931-1945 (Taurus, 2023).
