Mark Dwyer

Mark Dwyer is a real estate development professional with over 20 years of experience leading complex, large-scale residential and mixed-use projects. He is the Founder and Principal of Whist Pond Development Advisory, a strategic real estate advisory firm focused on development strategy and process in the U.S. and Europe. Whist Pond bridges regulatory and economic constraints with applied design and construction expertise to maximize long-term asset value.

Prior to founding Whist Pond, Mark served as Project Executive at Two Trees Management, where he led multifamily high-rise and adaptive reuse projects in New York City, with an emphasis on sustainable redevelopment at the building and neighborhood scale. His most notable work includes the redevelopment of the Domino Sugar Campus in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, comprising 11 acres, over 3 million square feet of mixed-use development, the adaptive reuse of the landmarked Domino Sugar Refinery, and five acres of new privately owned public space.

From 2008 to 2013, Mark was Director of Fundación Metrópoli, with offices in Madrid and Singapore, where he focused on global economic and urban development strategies. In addition to his professional practice, he has taught design studios and lecture courses internationally, including at the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Mark is a U.S.-licensed architect and LEED Accredited Professional. He holds a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design.
