Melinda Matuz
Melinda Matuz is a Senior Associate at UNS. She specializes in narrative design and storytelling, with a particular focus on how design influences people’s behavior, emotional engagement with interior, architecture, and the perception of space.
Melinda joined UNS in 2016 and plays a pivotal role in designing and managing complex projects involving numerous stakeholders, guiding design teams through all stages from concept to construction. She is actively advancing the development of UNS’s Interior Design services, focusing on creating interior design and business strategies that integrate design with identity and experience. Her expertise spans a wide range of projects, from interior design to master planning, which highlights her multidisciplinary approach.
Melinda received her Master of Science in Architecture from Budapest University of Technology and has conducted research at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design on social awareness in contemporary architecture.
She has explored the consequences of urban growth and digital development working on the Reorient – Migrating Architectures exhibition for the Venice Architectural Biennale and a series of kinetic sound installations, connecting low tech to digital searching for the meaning of art expressed through social media. Most recently, by completing her Executive MBA at the University of Amsterdam, specializing in international business, her focus turned towards the impact of AI adoptation in architecture and design concentrating on organizational readiness and the influence on people, processes and future strategies.
Her teaching experience includes multiple editions of the Venice Studio with the University of Melbourne and the combination of conceptual and digital design at the Fontys Academy in Tilburg.
