Miguel Vidal is an Architect graduated from the Technical University of Madrid. He is currently based in London working for the world-leading practice Foster + Partners, where he has been integrating and managing computational techniques in diverse projects worldwide.
He was awarded an Innovative Educational Programme scholarship to assist in teaching the first cross-curricular subject on parametric design and environmental analysis in Madrid School of Architecture in 2009. Since then, he has integrated teaching computational design methodologies as a guest lecturer in diverse British and Spanish universities, such as The Bartlett (UCL), Queen’s University Belfast, Madrid School of Architecture or Universidad Europea de Madrid, with work on building and multidisciplinary works both in practice and consultancy.
Miguel's work has been exhibited widely, such as in the 12th Biennial of Spanish Architecture and in the 4th Iberoamerican Design Biennial, and his research has been selected by institutions such as the Universitat International de Catalunya and the Institute for Interdisciplinary Innovation.
