Pedro de Melo Branco

Pedro Branco is an Assistant Professor at IE University in the area of Computer Science.  Previously, he was a postdoc at Bocconi University, the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy, and Johns Hopkins University. He received his PhD from Tecnico Lisbon in 2022 and was supervised by Paulo Mateus and Nico Döttling. 

The focus of his research is on the foundations of public-key cryptography, with a special focus on public-key encryption, secure multiparty computation and zero-knowledge proofs.
