Tiscar Espadas Herrador

Tíscar Espadas Herrador is a Spanish fashion designer and founder of the eponymous label TÍSCAR ESPADAS. She studied Fashion Design at IED Madrid and later completed an MA in Menswear at the Royal College of Art in London. Between her studies, she worked with several European fashion houses, gaining professional experience that informed the development of her own design language.

Following the positive reception of her MA graduate collection, CAPÍTULO I, she founded the TÍSCAR ESPADAS brand and studio in London in 2019. Since then, the label has developed a distinctive authorial approach in which garments act as narrators of a story, combining craftsmanship, process, and a contemporary perspective on timeless design.

Since its founding, the brand has gained growing international recognition, presenting its work at leading fashion events in cities such as London, Paris, Milan, Tokyo, Barcelona, and Madrid, and establishing a strong presence in the Asian market. The brand has received several industry distinctions, including the Vogue Fashion Fund (2024) and selection as a semifinalist for the LVMH Prize.

Based in Spain since 2021, Tíscar continues to develop her practice while also exploring other creative disciplines such as illustration, art direction, and teaching.
