About me

I chose IEU mainly because of its international environment, which for me was the most advantageous aspect that IEU had in comparison with other universities in Spain. Having the chance of being in a class with people from more than 13 nationalities makes you grow both in an academic and personal aspect. I am very interested in traveling and learning about new cultures and realities. However, I would say that my main “daily” hobbies are reading and spending time with my loved ones. I am currently a co-leader of the IEU Law Society, involved in an internship at Pérez-Llorca and I was a former member of the Humanitarian Club.

"I have learned that hard work pays off, and that if you are a hard-working and ambitious person you will reach your goals, but having fun and living your life is equally important"

Ainhoa Busto

Ainhoa is a bachelor of Laws, fourth year student who started her degree in our Segovia Campus. She enjoys traveling and is eager to explore new places after graduation, probably South America. Afterwards, Ainhoa wants to pursue a “Máster de Acceso a la Abogacía” in order to become lawyer in Spain. Her experience has taught her that lawyers should be very meticulous, and hard work is rewarded, but it is also very important to find a balance, in order to enjoy different moments in life.

Ainhoa’s interview is part of the Faces of IEU project, with seeks to bring closer together the IE community by sharing stories of students about their experience at the university, professionally, and about themselves. Through a series of interviews, students are able to share, explore and learn about opportunities that make IE University and its community truly unique.
