About me

As a Communication and Digital Media student, I always look to other cultures and societies to help influence my work, especially when it comes to improving my journalistic writing and technical skills. In order to get more experience, I decided to spend a semester at the University of Texas at Austin, where I immersed myself in both the Texan culture and a diverse student body of over 50,000 students from all over the world. Studying abroad doesn’t only give you a chance to travel and see the world through a new lense, but it also gives you the chance to grow as a future leader of our globalized world.

Undergraduate student

Many students, like Jesus, take advantage of the relationships that IE has with prestigious universities all over the world. Jesus stepped out of his comfort zone and decided to study at the University of Texas at Austin in the US. Before, during, and after his time abroad, Jesus made an effort to connect with his peers both at UT Austin and at IE who were also on exchange, fostering IE’s ideals of both diversity and global-thinking.
