IE Law School listed among the best law schools in the world by Financial Times
IE Law School has been listed for the second consecutive year among the best law schools worldwide in the Financial Times' 'Global Legal Education 2009' report. The FT's survey of education in the world of law features the top 57 law schools in the world, 12 of which are European, and uses criteria such as legal fields taught, the level of internationalization of the student body, and the employability of graduates on completion of the program.
The report underscores the fact that 90% of IE Law School graduates are working within 3 months of completing their studies. In the 2008/2009 academic year, 210 students from 35 countries undertook one of IE's 6 Masters of Laws (LL.M), which include the Executive LL.M. run jointly with Northwestern University (US), the Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Legal Practice, and Spanish-taught Masters in Law and Tax.
