Cine Forum 2011-2012: Leadership and Teamwork

The cine forum events have as their objective to stimulate debate and discussion between participating academic communities from Segovia’s Artillery Academy, IE University, and the University of Valladolid regarding the proposed topic of “Leadership and Teamwork”.

Using a selection of films as their base, the participants will gain a better understanding of the selected topic.    Each film projection will serve as a starting point for reflecting upon teamwork issues and the benefits and shortfalls of working as a group.    We can understand leadership as “the capability to orient, influence, and align others towards a common goal, motivating them to act or to commit to tasks and goals”.    For this reason we must always keep in mind the leader’s objectives and the success of the task depends in large part on the work of the team:   “without a team, there is no leader”.
