Domino's Pizza Case - 21st Meeting of Scientist and Professionals in Communication

IE School of Communication (IE University) invites you to the 21st Meeting of Scientist and Professionals in Communication 2009-2010, where Carlos Victor Costa will host a lecture titled "Domino's Pizza Case: towards a new model to react to crisis in global social networking". Brief Summary: between the 12th and 18th April 2009, Domino's Pizza lived what can be defined as a nightmare because two of its employees uploaded a video on Youtube where the appeared playing and dealing antihygienically with food that it is supposed was going to be served afterwards. What started as a joke ended up in a lawsuit, angry consumers and a major crisis for the image of a major corporation.
