IE Business School announces the winners of the VI Asian Economic Journalism Award
The sixth edition of the prize produced more than 160 submissions from more than 60 Asian media.
IE Business School’s Asian Business Journalism Award recognizes the work of Asia’s media in strengthening economic ties between the Asia Pacific and Latin America regions. By highlighting the most influential and best writing in their respective fields, IE Business School distinguishes professionals who create specialized and quality journalism.
The award is sponsored by CAF Development Bank of Latin America, and is supported by CNN in Spanish, Iberia, Cinco Días and Casa de América.
The sixth edition of prize produced more than 160 submissions from more than 60 Asian media. The winners were chosen for their contribution to informing and analyzing the new economic dynamics and challenges the region faces in the future.
IE Business School’s 6th Asian Business Journalism Award particularly highlighted the work of journalists from Japan’s Nikkei Asian Review, China’s Shangxueyuan and Lianhe Zaobao, from Singapore.

The award ceremony will take place in Madrid on April 24, 2019 at Casa de América, a collaborating body of the Journalism Prize, in the presence of winners, companies and institutions from Spain and Latin America, along with the eighth edition of the Latin America Economic Journalism Prize.
