IE University has strengthened its global position in digital education, rising to 18th in the world in the Times Higher Education (THE) Digital Leaders in Higher Education Ranking 2025. This ranking evaluates the 200 best institutions worldwide for preparing students to lead in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and tech-driven fields. This positioning reflects the University’s reputation for delivering impactful, interdisciplinary education that equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to actively participate and shape today’s digital environment.
IE University also ranks among the global top 20 in three specialized categories. In Digital Entrepreneurship, IE University ranks 7th globally and 3rd in Europe; in Digital Transformation Management, it holds the 7th global position and 4th in Europe; and in Data Science, AI & Business Analytics, IE University is ranked 16th worldwide and 6th in Europe.
The Digital Leaders Ranking 2025 identifies institutions whose alumni are making a measurable impact in digital, AI, and tech-driven fields. Evaluators consider the real-world performance of companies graduates help lead, as well as direct validation from employers on how well institutions prepare students for the digital economy.
