IE University celebrates the graduation of Bachelor and Master students from 160 countries

Students from IE University’s Bachelor and Master programs, representing 160 countries, will celebrate their graduation this July at the University’s historic campus in Segovia and at IE Tower, the institution’s vertical, tech-driven, and sustainable campus in Madrid.

The ceremonies will feature prominent figures from the corporate world, including Sami Rahal, CEO of Deloitte Central Europe; Horacio Gutiérrez, Senior Executive Vice President at Disney; Paloma Real, Division President Western Europe at Mastercard; Jacob Benbunan, CEO and co-founder of Saffron Brand Consultants; Rachel Schall Thomas, co-founder and CEO of the Sandberg Goldberg Bernthal Family Foundation; Peter Hoefinger, member of the Management Board at Vienna Insurance Group; Jessica Anderen, CEO of IKEA Foundation; and Iñigo Fernández de Mesa, Chairman of Rothschild & Co, among others.

Santiago Iñiguez de Onzoño, Executive President of IE University, highlighted the importance of preparing leaders to navigate a global context defined by uncertainty. "We live in a constantly evolving environment that demands professionals who can manage change, understand the geopolitical, social, and technological challenges we face, and respond with global vision, critical thinking, and a strong ethical commitment," he said.

Commitment to Innovation

Recognized as one of the most innovative institutions in the world, IE University launched a strategic initiative with OpenAI this academic year to integrate artificial intelligence tools at scale across the institution. Through this collaboration, students, faculty, researchers, and staff work with ChatGPT Edu to transform education, advance research, enhance the academic experience, and prepare students for the future of work.

IE New York College

As part of IE University’s international expansion, IE New York College (IENYC) recently launched operations in New York. IENYC is a nonprofit academic institution established in the State of New York, with IE University as its sole member. Located in SoHo, IE New York College offers Master programs with a strong international focus and close ties to the business world. Its academic offering centers on business, innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability, training leaders who drive economic growth and positive social impact. The institution currently offers a Master in Business for Social Impact and Sustainability. A Master in Management will launch in September, followed by a Master in Finance and a Master in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in 2026.
