IE University is the number one Spanish university, the seventh in Europe and the 24th in the world in the Times Higher Education’s Global University Employability Ranking 2018. IE University further consolidates its position among the universities employers and human resources managers international companies rate highest.

The Global University Employability Ranking 2018 measures the employability of graduates from 150 universities and analyzes the opinion of 7,000 recruiters and managers of large companies that have recruited more than 250,000 new graduates over the last year.

The decision-making panel was made up of experts from 22 countries, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, South Korea, Spain, Israel, Italy, Japan, Morocco, Mexico, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. Among the top 25 universities in the ranking are 10 from the United States, eight from Europe, four from Asia, two from Canada and one from Australia.

"IE University has students from 116 nationalities who are trained in the areas of Communication, Architecture and Design, International Relations, Big Data and Business Analytics, Politics, Law or Economics, among others. "This ranking reveals an important global change in the employability of university graduates during this decade. We see better performance in East Asia and in some European countries. In general terms, the institutions that have improved the most are those that provide students with skills valued by recruiters such as teamwork and solid business experience", said Simon Baker, Data Editor at Times Higher Education.
