Recruiters from intergovernmental organizations meet with students from 160 countries at IE University's IGO Day 2025
The event, organized by the IE Talent & Careers team, was attended by recruiters from the UN, the EU and NATO, among other organizations.
HR heads from 17 international intergovernmental organizations met this week with IE University Bachelor's and Master's students from 160 countries to present their growth plans, expand their network and attract talent to their institutions. Intergovernmental Organizations Day (IGO Day 2025), an event organized by the IE Talent & Careers team, was attended by recruiters from the UN, the EU, NATO, the Inter-American Development Bank, UNICEF, the Asian Development Bank and the International Telecommunication Union, among other organizations.
Students talked with recruiters at the networking event to assess their professional development options, mainly in the field of international relations and development within the global multilateral system. The heads of the IGOs provided information on the most in-demand profiles and key skills for professional success.
In addition, as part of IGO Day 2025, the Global Careers for a Changing World - Building Skills for the Next 50 Years panel brought experts from the Asian Development Bank, NATO, UNICEF and the International Telecommunication Union together to share their views on trends in the future of work in the multilateral sector.
Highlighting the importance of the event to accelerate the professional careers of students, Inés Drieselmann, Head of Global Alumni and Talent & Careers at IE University, said: "IGO Day is an exceptional opportunity for intergovernment organizations to access our institution’s talent, and for our students to expand their network, learn about the type of profiles that these organizations need and continue training to develop careers with global impact."
