Student Office:

We are pleased to invite all IE University Students and Staff to join us on Saturday 13th November for a morning of hiking in the Parque Natural de Peñalara.  Our hike will cover approximately 4km/3 hours and will take us to the Laguna de Peñalara, a small natural lake at around 2000m  with stunning views of the surrounding peaks in the Sierra de Guadarrama.

IMPORTANT: Our route will take us to an altitude of over 2000m and we expect snow and cold temperatures. Please ensure that you bring warm clothing, a waterproof jacket and suitable footwear (walking boots or sturdy shoes). If there is particularly heavy snowfall we will do an alternative route at lower altitude.  The bus will leave from outside the residence on campus at 09:45 and we expect to return to campus at approximately 15:00.
