This year’s edition of IE Summer School offers academic content fully in English, focused on key areas for professional growth and the future of work.
This summer, 800 university and pre-college students from more than 60 countries are taking part in IE Summer School 2025, an annual initiative organized by IE University across its Segovia and Madrid campuses. The programs will run through the end of July.
Participants in IE Summer School 2025 will strengthen their entrepreneurial and innovative mindset, deepen their understanding of digital transformation, and experience life and learning in Madrid and Segovia—two cities recognized for their historic, cultural, urban, and environmental value, renowned as global academic destinations. "IE Summer School 2025 is a unique opportunity to explore academic and professional interests, develop key skills, and be part of a global ecosystem across our campuses. It is a transformative experience," says Erik Schlie, Dean of IE Summer School.
Key skills for the world of work
This year’s edition of IE Summer School offers academic content fully in English, focused on key areas for professional growth and the future of work. Pre-college students, aged 16 and 17, will develop leadership, innovation, creativity, and teamwork skills. They will also take part in a hackathon, engage in design thinking dynamics, and work on sustainability challenges while enjoying a two-week immersive experience on IE University’s campuses.
In addition, university students and young professionals will delve into subjects such as Breakthrough Tech & AI, Upskilling for Professional Development, and Entrepreneurship, depending on their career goals. Their programs will last either two or four weeks.
All IE Summer School participants will receive a diploma upon completion of their program.
Beyond the academic sessions, students will benefit from a wide range of extracurricular and cultural activities, exploring unique sites in Madrid and Segovia, including historical landmarks such as the Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial.
