With our exchange programs, for example, you can study at any of our partner universities across the globe and open yourself up to a whole new culture or language—something that's becoming more and more important in our increasingly interconnected and globalized world. We also have our special IEU Labs, a hands-on and internship-like experience on campus that helps you learn extra skills and better prepares you for your future career.
There are also more than 150 clubs to help you find like-minded people who share your hobbies and interests. Ranging from theater to sports, academia, and more, there’s something for everyone.

PARIS IMMERSION EXPERIENCE
As part of the Bachelor in Humanities, students travel to Paris for an immersive academic experience designed to connect cultural analysis with the historical, artistic and social dynamics of one of Europe’s most influential capitals. Through direct engagement with museums, urban spaces and cultural institutions, students explore how history, art, philosophy and society intersect in shaping contemporary culture and collective memory.
A hands-on academic journey that strengthens cultural awareness, critical thinking and interdisciplinary understanding through direct exposure to the institutions, narratives and environments that continue to shape modern culture.
Experience Paris as a Living Laboratory
Students move beyond traditional classroom learning by engaging directly with the cultural, artistic and historical environments that have shaped European thought and modern urban life. From Versailles to Montmartre, each location connects academic theory with contemporary realities, helping students strengthen their analytical thinking, cultural awareness and global perspective through first-hand exposure to the relationship between history, society, art and urban culture.

Visits to the Musée des Arts Décoratifs and a hands-on perfume atelier bring the history of Parisian craftsmanship to life. Students explore how heritage, design and luxury became central to French cultural identity, and how they continue to shape global brands, consumer culture and contemporary soft power.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
The Professional Development Program brings together three complementary initiatives: the Careers in Context Series, the Professional Toolbox Workshops, and the Mentorship Program, in order to bridge academic training with professional growth. Designed for Humanities students, the program empowers them to translate critical thinking into real-world impact, articulate their ideas with confidence and clarity, and cultivate the skills and habits needed for long-term professional success.

How important are clubs at IE, and are there many options?
IE University has a vibrant student‑club ecosystem with 100+ active clubs across professional, cultural, social, sports and other interests, offering many ways to connect, develop skills and build community.
Students can join existing clubs or propose and launch new clubs by submitting a club proposal. IE provides support and tools to help student‑led initiatives grow, including guidance through Campus Life and opportunities to lead events or take on club leadership roles.
