Time to Grow

Time to Grow is a project based in Orellana la Vieja in Extremadura, whose ultimate goal is to offset the current population crisis in the region. The project, a visionary creation of elevated walkways, hopes to attract more tourists to the area through its unique blend of ingenious architecture and natural beauty.

The walkways have been handcrafted to seamlessly integrate with the area’s beautiful landscape in a sustainable way that doesn’t disturb the surrounding environment. Connected to the coast, they offer an unparalleled opportunity for tourists to be at one with nature—with 360 degree views from varying heights levels— as they explore the area’s natural charm. Additionally, the walkways are made using solely organic materials, emphasizing the idea that nature itself is a fascinating example of architecture.

Finally, the project will also tackle the issue of the ageing population in Orellana la Vieja through its brand new educational facilities, which will attract more young people to the region. Likewise, the thermal baths will increase tourism more generally by offering tourists an opportunity to escape from reality, and relax, unwind, and revitalize in a tranquil setting.
