A walkable, public pier was been carefully placed on Taipei’s crops, in the shore of the Taisui River. The pier is an elongation of the city, joining technology and tradition.
The structure embodies the walkable area independent from any other element. It also hosts the services to feed the unpredictable plug-in incorporations that could be attached to it.
Plug ins host technological and leisure environments using prefabricated modules that could be attached to the structure without affecting it. The solution provides a structural armature that responds to the changing needs of individuals. The lightness of the structure shows respect to the landscape, keeping it as preserved and untouched as possible.
