Junior Advisory Board 2025 - Imagining Tomorrow: Sustainable Design for Impactful Change

Imagine a future where everything around us is designed to be sustainable and beneficial for both people and the planet. How would you improve your community using these design ideas? Think about how design can help us learn from the past and make a positive difference in the future.

To apply, you must submit a four/five-minute video pitch supported by a presentation answering one of the following questions:

1. Future Vision: What changes would you like to see in your community to make it more sustainable and better for everyone? How do design plays a role in these changes?

 2. Design Lessons: What design ideas or practices from the past or present should we keep using? Why are these important for creating a better future?

3. Your Ideas: What simple design projects or changes could you start to make your community more sustainable? How would these design ideas make a difference?

 4. Your Role: How can you personally use design to help make these changes happen?

 5. Balancing Old and New: What design elements from our current way of life should we keep, and how can we improve them with new, sustainable ideas?

The evaluation will consider your ability to organize ideas, think critically, be creative, and communicate effectively. The style, creativity, and format of the presentation are entirely up to you, so show us who you are!

**The only requirement for the proposal is that you must use both screen and camera modes.**
