Students from several IE University Architecture classes just returned from a study trip to Portugal, where they got to know the most important architecture offices and the most prestigious modern buildings in that country. They observed and studied work by such prominent architects as Álvaro Siza or Rem Koolhaas, and also visited the offices of Aires Mateus, in Lisbon, and Souto de Moura  in Oporto.

IE University organizes these international trips so that student can analyze, study and think about the architectural singularities of the country they are studying. This trip, which took place from January 12th to the 18th, was organized by professors Ángela Ruiz, Rafael Íñiguez de Onzoño and Julián García.
