Fifty students from twenty countries enjoy a first taste of university with IExPEERience

From February 20 – 22 IE University ran the latest edition of IExPEERience. The event invites future undergraduates from around the globe to visit the IE centers in Madrid and Segovia to find out more about university’s teaching model.

So far this year a total of 50 students of 20 nationalities have been granted admission to IE University to study their undergraduate degree starting this fall. IExPEERience gives students the opportunity to participate in a number of activities that aim to familiarize them with an international university environment. Future students are able to attend classes and workshops led by IE University professors. As well as connecting with professors, participants will gain first-hand experience of the IE University learning model, based on diversity and innovation, with a markedly global slant.

The stay at the Madrid and Segovia centers will also serve as a platform for future students to get to know the degree that best meets their needs and interests on a professional and personal level. They will have at their disposal advisors from the admission team, as well as a group of 60 fellow students from 35 countries worldwide, who will be sharing their experiences and explaining the key features of each degree.

There will be academic sessions, such as workshops and lectures, and leisure activities. Students will get to take part in a treasure hunt, attend dance and cookery classes, enjoy guided tours around Madrid and Segovia, rounded off by a dinner at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. The overriding aim is for the future undergraduates to enjoy their stay, visit Segovia and Madrid, and get a feel for the IE University experience.
