IE New York College Brings Global Leaders Together to Shape the Future of Education, Business, and Geopolitics

Thanks to its official recognition in New York State, IENYC students have access to unique professional opportunities, including the option to work in the U.S. after graduation.

This week, IE New York College (IENYC) is hosting executives, entrepreneurs, and investors from around the world to discuss the future of education, the global economy, and geopolitics. The gathering brings together IE University’s International Advisory Board – chaired by Pablo Isla, Chairman of Nestlé – alongside the newly created Board of Trustees of IENYC, who will convene at the SoHo campus of IE New York College. Their mission: to share insights and strategic perspectives on the transformative forces reshaping society, business, and global governance.

As part of the week’s events, the South Summit Scale-up Series will debut in New York. The global innovation and entrepreneurship platform will welcome unicorn founders, investors, and startup leaders to IENYC, including the founders of Oyster, Capchase, and Seedtag, as well as funds such as Gilgamesh Ventures, Everywhere Ventures, and Earlybird Venture Capital. Together, they will explore international growth strategies, innovation trends, and investment opportunities on a global scale.

Expanding Academic Horizons in New York

These initiatives mark the official start of IENYC’s academic year. Recognized by the State of New York, IE New York College is an American university with IE University as its sole member. Located in SoHo, it currently offers the Master of Science in Business for Social Impact and Sustainability and the Master of Science in Management. In 2026, the portfolio will expand with a Master in Finance and a Master in Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence.

A Gateway to Global Careers

Thanks to its official recognition in New York State, IENYC students have access to unique professional opportunities, including the option to work in the U.S. after graduation. New York City – the world’s financial capital and a global hub for entrepreneurship and innovation – provides an unparalleled backdrop for learning, networking, and career development.

"At IE New York College, the city itself becomes the classroom. Every street, theater, and skyscraper is a space to learn, innovate, and grow," said Manuel Muñiz, Chair of the IENYC Board of Trustees and Provost of IE University. "We combine academic rigor with real-world impact. Our students graduate with a global vision, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the skills to lead in a world shaped by technology, social change, and geopolitical shifts. We are proud of our global identity and of our community of doers, disruptors, and creators in a classroom that never sleeps."
