IE New York College unveils its global strategy for sustained growth
The official recognition of IE New York College in the State of New York allows students to work in the U.S. after graduation and to pursue an unparalleled academic experience.
IE New York College unveiled today its global growth strategy. Diego del Alcázar, CEO of IE University, and Manuel Muñiz, Provost of IE University and Chair of the Board of Trustees of IE New York College, presented IE University’s roadmap and their vision for the future of IE New York College, addressing an audience of business leaders, entrepreneurs, and international media in New York. This growth strategy strengthens IE University’s position as a global reference in Higher Education.
Manuel Muñiz outlined the academic offering of IE New York College, a US university officially recognized by the State of New York with IE University as its sole member. Located in SoHo, IE New York College welcomed this academic year students from over 30 countries to the Master of Science in Business for Social Impact and Sustainability and the Master of Science in Management. In 2026, the College will expand its academic portfolio with a Master in Finance and a Master in Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence. Muñiz also underlined the institution ’s commitment to scholarships, which cover between 50% and 75% of tuition for students with extraordinary talent.

"IE New York College students, who this year come from 34 countries, develop key skills to lead strategic challenges with a global vision," said Muñiz, who also highlighted the projects IE New York College develops with multinational to enrich academic programs and accelerate career opportunities. Muñiz described IE New York College as a "transatlantic bridge." "By connecting Madrid and New York, IE offers a unique model, global in scope, with a shared vision and transformative impact," he added.

Global Reference in Higher Education
Diego del Alcázar noted that "with 90% international students, plans to double the number of full-time faculty by 2030, a network of 85,000 alumni in 180 countries, over 300 academic partnerships, and 30 offices worldwide, IE University reinforces its role as a global reference in Higher Education. The launch of IE New York College is a decisive step in this journey."

He also emphasized that IE University is exploring new international destinations to further strengthen its global presence.

The CEO of IE University finally addressed the broader challenges facing Higher Education. "The role of universities is more essential than ever. Education must provide understanding, vision, and the ability to innovate and drive change," Del Alcázar added.
