IE University is celebrate its diverse community by bringing together global executives at LGBT+@Work 2023 at the first-ever LGBTQIAP+ business conference in Europe, organized by the IE Out & Allies Club alumni club. The 17th annual conference takes place on June 29 at the IE Tower campus, coinciding with the LGBTQIAP+ Pride festival taking place in Madrid during this week.

In addition, the event features presentations by Kike Sarasola (Room Mate Group), Maital Guttman (McKinsey) and Wendy Drukier (Canadian Embassy in Spain and Andorra).

The conference also seeks to foster the leadership of its community of students, alumni from 165 countries, faculty, business stakeholders and LGBTIQIAP+ allies through conferences, roundtables and workshops.
“At IE University, we aim to foster an environment where everyone feels included. It is with great honor that we have the privilege of hosting the 17th edition of the LGBT+@Work on campus, as we firmly believe in the profound impact and numerous advantages that diversity and its effective management bring to organizations and to each individual behind these. This is why this year’s claim is: Be Yourself, Everywhere”, says Sabine Yazbeck, Global Head of Student Experience.
“As leaders, it is incumbent upon us to develop more open, inclusive and empathetic work teams. We believe that the LGBT+@Work conference plays an important role in the conversation about the evolution of inclusion. In the end, we decide what kind of world we want to inhabit and work in, so why not make it as open and inclusive as possible?” say Andrew Walther, David Lezama and Nicolas Lebed, conference coordinators.
