IE University Celebrates the AI Use Case Awards 2025

The AI Use Case Awards 2025 is a competition in which staff and faculty members participated.

This week, IE University celebrated the AI Use Case Awards 2025, a competition in which staff and faculty members participated, showcasing their use of AI to drive the institution's academic excellence, promote innovation, and streamline processes.

The finalist projects in the competition, organized by IE University's Talent team, were those developed by Alejandro Pedroche and Luis Bach (Epic Events AI), Alex Cope (IE Insights SEO Tool), Bárbara Fajardo (Academic Assistant), Constantino de Zabala (Brief Smarter, Work More Productive), Diego Fresco (Automation built with curiosity, not code), Laura Ortiz Garrett, Molly Timmons, and Valeria Iturbe (Augmenting Content Enhancement with AI), as well as Kyle Vincent Rosario Tagle, Mónica Ojea Carrera, and Concepción Galdón (Navi – Your IE Business School Purpose Companion).

The winning projects in this first edition of the AI Use Case Awards were:

  • 1st Prize – Rosa Díaz developed an AI tool that improves communication efficiency.
  • 2nd Prize – Valeria Valevashnikova designed a technological solution that converts event data into Power BI dashboards.
  • 3rd PrizeValentina Zubeldía and Andrea Gascón created an AI assistant to analyze academic evaluation systems.
