In his career he has been visiting professor in the leading schools of architecture, in Europe, Asia and America. This Greek architect is, without doubt, one of the most prestigious contemporary architects.

In this lecture at IE University, – named A Return: Visualizing the Project within a Broad Framework – Zenghelis will question the relation between politics and architecture, and will explore how an initial project can be the beginning for new proposals.

The “Encounters” cycle, that takes part all over the academic year, analyzes the multiple ways in which an architect contemplates a project and the different alternatives he has to trigger the creative process. Before, the cycle has welcomed the lectures of the journalist and film-maker Oskar Alegría, and of professor and researcher of Zurich ETH Toni Kotnik. After Zenghelis’ lecture, the next guest will be Merritt Bucholz, the innovative American architect, on February 28th.
