Scissors and desk lamp

'Introduction to Design Studio’ is all about 'Learning by Doing’.

The project-based learning model welcomed design students to the world of design experimentation and problem solving. Throughout the course, theory and practice is blended within 9 projects, in which several skills are put into practice. From sketching to discovering materials and tools in the FabLab (in-house workshop).

Students are continuously encouraged to be critical of our surroundings, which enable them not only to understand the design process, but also to understand the importance of good design.

The Scissors Project allows students to discover how objects are related to specific shapes by hand-sketching two types of scissors: thread cutting and paper cutting.

In The Desk Lamp and a Book Mini-Lamp Project, they analyze two objects of the same category to compare their features.
