IE University, 18th worldwide in the Times Higher Education 2023 Employability Ranking
IE University began the 2023-2024 academic year with students from 140 countries and four new undergraduate and post-graduate programs.

IE University ranks 18th in the 2023 Global Employability University Ranking and Survey which is based on the views of employers and run by Times Higher Education (THE) and Emerging. This year’s results of the world’s top 250 universities show that employers are increasingly seeking graduates with strong team work skills and a collaborative and social engaged mindset linked to impact and leadership. The results also show that employers seek graduates who are capable of transforming the organization. This is the sixth consecutive year that IE University has ranked in the world’s top 25 universities for employability.

The Talent & Careers team at IE University provides impactful advising, learning resources, and development tools that allow students and alumni to achieve their career goals. The team works closely with international recruiters that are seeking top talent. 

The Global Employability University Ranking surveyed international recruiters and is based on a framework of six key drivers identified by businesses as the main contributors to creating employable graduates: academic excellence: research output, quality of teaching staff; digital performance: innovative learning methods, specialist training on digital jobs; focus on work: entrepreneurial environment, relevant work experience as part of the curriculum; soft skills and digital literacy; internationalism: international curriculum and staff; and specialization: up-to-date technical or business expertise, relevant specialized research. 

IE University began the 2023-2024 academic year with students from 140 countries and four new undergraduate and post-graduate programs: Bachelor in Applied Mathematics, Bachelor in Environmental Sciences for Sustainability, Master’s in Architecture and Executive Master’s in International Development. In September, more than 4,000 new students joined the first year of the institution's undergraduate and Master's degree programs at the Segovia and Madrid campuses. In addition, the University also recently announced the launch of its sixth School, the IE School of Humanities.
