We keep your children safe
At IE University our priority is keeping your children safe and making them feel at home. Find more information about health and safety below:
In Spain, as a rule, there are two kinds of health insurance: the kind where the insured party is reimbursed once they have paid for medical care, and the kind where the insurance company covers absolutely all of the costs incurred. IE University has an agreement with Sanitas, an established medical insurance firm, whereby all major medical costs are covered. Sanitas allows students to take out a policy from their country of origin without having to wait until they arrive in Spain.GENERAL HEALTH INFORMATION
Spain is one of the safest countries in the world and has one of the lowest crime rates in Europe. Segovia is also one of the safest cities in Spain, and the campus is located in a highly secure residential area. On our campus, permanent security measures are in place during opening hours, with CCTV cameras in operation, as well as security staff stationed throughout our sites.SAFETY
Embarking on this new adventure is extremely exciting, but sometimes it can become a little overwhelming. For that reason, we provide mentoring and counseling support for students from their first day of class. This involves showing students what life is like at IE University and how they can make the most of this new experience.counseling
