IEU LABS
IEU Labs are IE University’s alternative to traditional internships. Designed for first- and second-year students seeking high-level internship placements, the IE Labs provide a hands-on, internship-like, on-campus experience, where you work on projects for leading companies and institutions in a variety of sectors.
SUMMER RESEARCH PROGRAM
Work in teams to gain practical, hands-on experience and contribute towards positive change.
Research and Advisory on International Affairs (RAIA)
The youth-led international think tank welcomes IE University students into a joint Summer Research Program to analyze different climate leaders using the RAIA methodology. The primary objective of this initiative is to delve into the role these leaders play in climate policy, pinpoint the turning points that led them to their climate leadership positions, explore the solutions they advocate and evaluate the impact they've had in the real world.
United Nations Systems Staff College (UNSSC)
The UNSSC is dedicated to creating a better and more equal world, with the transformative power of learning at its core. IE University students participate in an enriching experience involving real research that makes a real change. Through planning, data collection and analysis, and the opportunity to showcase insightful findings, students are guaranteed a challenging and impactful experience.
Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)
The OECD is focused on improving lives by shaping policies that lead to more equality on a global scale. During this project, students develop research methodologies and craft recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis in the areas of either geopolitical risk or ESG reporting.
PRACTICE LAW GLOBALLY
STUDY LAW IN SPAIN
This official concentration is particularly interesting for those students who want to practice law in Spain and would like to gain a deeper understanding of the Spanish legal system.
This course, consisting of 36 ECTS taken during the 3rd and 4th year of the LL.B, builds on the base of knowledge students have gained in comparative law in-line with the basic requirements of the LLB. It will help students to:
- Master the general principles of Spanish Law
- Focus on Spanish legislation and jurisprudence
- Familiarize with Spanish Law terminology
PRACTICE LAW IN INDIA
Open exclusively to Indian nationals, this program transforms students into global law professionals and business strategists and opens the door to becoming a lawyer in India.
After successfully completing the LL.B. and LL.M. programs at IE University, you will be allowed to enroll with the State Bar Council of India and take All India Bar Examinations (AIBE): LL.B. + LL.M. + AIBE.
OUR UNITED NATIONS SYSTEMS STAFF COLLEGE PARTNERSHIP
All our students take courses designed by the United Nations System Staff College for UN practitioners around the world. These courses, aimed at bolstering leadership skills, are taught in an asynchronous and online format through a custom-designed platform for IE University.
Students who successfully complete their work obtain an official diploma certified by the UNSSC.

Our students have the opportunity to participate in various international Model United Nations competitions.

IE UNIVERSITY TRANSFORMATIONAL JOURNEY
During their second year, students in the International Relations program have the option to participate in the Transformational Leadership Journey. This trip offers a unique opportunity for students to enrich their learning through travel experiences in various locations, including Nepal.
