As part of 'The Next 50', IE University's major annual events have contributed to analyzing the questions that will determine our future for the next five decades.

More than 2,000 students from 140 countries studying at IE Business School, IE Law School, and IE School of Architecture and Design graduated this December, with ceremonies at the IE Tower, IE University's new headquarters in Madrid.

The graduation ceremonies of the International MBA, Global Executive MBA, Executive MBA, Master in Management, Master in Real Estate Development, and Master Ejecutivo de Asesoría Jurídica were attended by top executives including Juan Ignacio Entrecanales, Vice President of Acciona, and Luis Ballarat, Managing Director of Boston Consulting Group, who gave keynotes focused on their experiences, strategic vision, and leadership lessons related to the challenges facing the business world.

This year, IE University is celebrating The Next 50, an initiative to anticipate the future, to better understand the challenges we will face in the coming decades in education, technology, global governance and sustainability, among other fields, and preparing for changes that will shape our lives and the new world of work.

As part of 'The Next 50', IE University's major annual events have contributed to analyzing the questions that will determine our future for the next five decades. At the same time, IE Insights, IE University's knowledge hub, has developed “50 Ideas to Shape the Future,” a series of articles featuring international figures whose work gives us an idea of what this planet will look like in 2073, how education will change, which topics will be the focus of academic research, how business management will be redrawn, the priorities for global governance, as well as how to manage sustainability, diversity management, economic, political and social challenges, the strength of technology and the AI revolution, among others.
