At IE University, we believe that what you learn outside the classroom is just as important as what you learn in the classroom. That’s why we make sure every student has endless opportunities to expand their cultural, personal, and professional horizons.
With our exchange programs, for example, you can study at any of our partner universities across the globe and open yourself up to a whole new culture or language—something that’s becoming more and more important in our increasingly interconnected and globalized world. We also have our special IEU Labs, a hands-on and internship-like experience on campus that helps you learn extra skills and better prepares you for your future career.
There are also more than 150 clubs to help you find like-minded people who share your hobbies and interests. Ranging from theater to sports, academia, and more, there’s something for everyone.

The Behavior Lab
The Behavior Lab is a unique initiative designed to offer students a practical way to apply their knowledge to real business settings. The program welcomes students from all our bachelor’s programs and actively seeks to promote collaboration among diverse teams.
By partnering with real-world organizations such as businesses, NGOs and government bodies, the Behavior Lab provides students with the opportunity to create solutions to pressing issues in the industry. Students will tackle a wide range of topics including developing new products, transforming consumer behavior and improving hybrid work.
The program is split into two periods; from January to May, students research the organization and its challenges, followed by a period of developing recommendations for the organization in June.

Up to 45 students can participate each year, making it an excellent opportunity for those looking to work in a collaborative and innovative environment while gaining hands-on experience in solving real-world problems.

What methods are used in behavioral science studies at IE University?
Our Bachelor in Behavior and Social Sciences uses an innovative approach to study behavior, its motivations and mechanisms. Specifically, the program utilizes practical, hands-on methodologies combined with neuromarketing techniques, case studies, surveys, questionnaires, controlled experiments, observational studies and other qualitative and quantitative methods.Â
